The Zodiac Intellicut SC is a high-performance sheet cutter equipped with two heads. Thanks to its positioning system based on QR codes and registration marks, it operates fully automatically. It reaches a cutting speed of 1600 mm/s. The use of a modern servo drive makes the cutter quieter, not only providing greater operator comfort but also allowing it to be installed in an office environment. The use of state-of-the-art technological solutions means that the list of advantages of the Zodiac IntelliCut SC does not end with high cutting quality and repeatability. 

Intelligent sheet feeding

The Zodiac Intellicut SC is equipped with a sheet feeder with a separation function. This guarantees that sheets will not stick together and that only one sheet will enter the cutting process. The cutter picks a sheet from the stack using suction, blows air into the stack and performs a back-and-forth movement before loading the sheet into the cutter. This mechanism streamlines operation, minimizes the risk of errors and reduces the need for operator intervention.

Functionality comes first

The cutter is operated using a user-friendly plug-in for the most popular graphics editing programs: Adobe Ilustrator and CorelDraw. The plug-in includes a license that allows installation on three devices. The cutter connects to a computer through one of three available interfaces: Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB. It is controlled via a 5-inch touchscreen panel.

The cutter is mounted on a specially designed cabinet with an additional storage shelf. This means it does not take up extra space on the worktop. The entire structure is mounted on four wheels, allowing the cutter to be positioned conveniently and moved freely when necessary. The drawer holder for cut pieces is designed so that it can be inserted into the cutter housing with two simple movements. The well-thought-out design makes the cutter easy to move despite its considerable size and, when necessary, allows the accessories to be stored inside, significantly reducing the occupied space when the device is not in use.

One device, many possibilities

The maximum sheet width that can be placed in the cutter is 370 mm. The maximum cutting width is 340 mm. This allows sheets in A3+ format or even larger sheets with non-standard dimensions to be cut. 

The use of two heads enables simultaneous cutting and creasing. The solid felt pad at the cutting point is more durable than standard plastic strips. Its use allows sheets to be cut through. The number of rollers holding the sheet and the design of the entire media-guiding system also allow sheets to be cut through.
