Gelling reducer for Excalibur plastisol inks. Provides an effect similar to printing with water-based inks. Reduces opacity and increases the amount of ink. It can also be used with 841 plastisol transfer adhesive in emulsion.
Application:
For thinning plastisol inks and transfer adhesive
Composition:
Lead-free, phthalate-free adhesive
Available packaging:
1.0 kg
Country of origin:
Canada
WARNING:
Before starting serial production, ink tests must be carried out on the garment on which the applications will be made.
LIST OF AVAILABLE ADDITIVES FOR EXCALIBUR INKS:
LCA - low-temperature curing additive - Adding 5-6% to the ink mass lowers the ink curing temperature by 15°C. Wash tests must always be carried out.
ABA - Anti buildup additive - Adding 5-10% will significantly reduce ink buildup on the screen during "wet-on-wet" printing.
HSA - Hight stretch additive - Adding 5% will significantly increase the elasticity and stretchability of the colors.
LBA - Low bleed additive - Adding 5% will reduce the rate at which unstable polyester dyes migrate from the fiber into the printed ink.
PF -97 PUFF additive - Adding 20-30% to standard plastisol creates an ink that expands after curing.
Suede Additive - Adding 10-13% transforms standard plastisol into a suede effect. Mesh 32-64
103 - Fast Flash additive - Adding 3 to 5% shortens the time needed for plastisol to reach gelling temperature.
836 - Hihg density additive - Adding 20% reduces viscosity and increases the density of standard plastisol, making it suitable for printing 3D graphics.
502 - Viscosity reducer - Adding 3 to 5% reduces the viscosity of all plastisol inks. Adding more than 5% is not recommended, as this will impair the inks' curing ability.
501 - Curable reducer - Add an unlimited amount to any plastisol ink to achieve the desired viscosity. Mixed inks will cure regardless of the amount added.
Lumiglow powder - Add up to 30% by weight to any transparent plastisol base to create glow-in-the-dark ink. In light it will be pale green; in darkness, bright green.
Thickener - Added to plastisol in 1% increments to increase viscosity.
HGA Hight gloss additive - high-gloss additive - Adding 3 to 5% will significantly increase the surface gloss of standard plastisol.
102 - Matte additive - Adding 6 to 10% will significantly reduce the surface gloss of standard plastisol.
801 - Foil proof - Clear ink for prints that heavy metallic foil will not adhere to. Use in designs where foil is only an element, not the entire motif.
906 - Hot split additive - Adding 25 to 30% to standard plastisol transforms it into a heat-transfer ink that will hot-split from transfer paper / foil.
X 150 - Adding 10-15% to standard plastisol will significantly improve its adhesion to substrates such as umbrellas, neoprene and nylon. Note: maximum adhesion is achieved 72 hours after curing.
507 Soft Hand Additive - Can be added in any amount to standard plastisol to reduce its viscosity while softening the final print effect. Note: plastisol opacity will decrease after adding 507.
