Excalibur Adhesive 841 is a screen-printing adhesive that enables highly precise, loss-free application. It provides a very strong adhesive layer. Particularly recommended for “difficult” prints (puff) and applications involving graphics with very small elements.

Application:
For high-speed automatic presses and manual work

Composition:
Lead-free, phthalate-free plastisol inks

Curing:
160 °C (light colors require longer curing).
Coagulation occurs at 126°C
Curing time always depends on the amount of ink used. Lighter prints and applications with a large amount of ink will require a longer curing time.

Plastisol heat curing:
150°C - 12 to 15 seconds
199°C - 4 to 7 seconds

Screens:
For plastisol transfers - 32T-50Tcm

Recommended additives:
Due to the thixotropic properties of Excalibur 841 emulsion, the adhesive must always be thoroughly mixed before use. To reduce viscosity and facilitate application through the screen, thinners can be used – e.g. Excalibur 501; however, particular attention should be paid to the possibility of excessive reduction in the viscosity and durability of the adhesive layer if too much thinner is added. In addition, a large amount of 501 thinner may affect the quality of the entire print.
