EXCALIBUR | 846 / 847 High Stretch Adhesive, 1 kg

Excalibur Adhesive 846 / 847 High Stretch is a strong, highly elastic adhesive for screen printing, enabling highly precise, loss-free application. It provides a very strong, stretchable adhesive layer. Particularly recommended for plastisol transfer prints (onto paper or film), as well as for very fine, detailed prints. For use with most opaque Excalibur ink series. Available in two variants:

Printing:
Apply adhesive through an 80-120 mesh screen
The emulsion should cover the entire image and should be only partially—not completely—gelled

Transfer onto textiles at:
149°C / 12-15 seconds
to 199°C / 4-7 seconds

Composition:
Lead-free, phthalate-free plastisol inks


Recommended additives:
Due to the thixotropic properties of Excalibur 841 emulsion, always mix the adhesive thoroughly before use. To reduce viscosity and facilitate screen application, thinners such as Excalibur 501 may be used; however, pay particular attention to the possibility of excessively reducing the viscosity and durability of the adhesive layer when too much thinner is added. In addition, a large amount of 501 thinner may affect the quality of the entire print.
