EXCALIBUR | Series 500, 1kg Colors

Excalibur Series 500 consists of highly versatile plastisol inks for screen printing, free from harmful phthalates. Excalibur is a series of inks with an excellent balance, allowing both manual techniques and automatic printing. Its balanced viscosity enables easy ink application even through fine (122) screens, while providing adequate coverage for most applications. Excalibur 500 is easy to use. It is suitable for direct printing and for plastisol transfers (cold peel) onto film and paper.

Application:
For high-speed automatic presses and manual work

Composition:
Lead-free, phthalate-free plastisol inks

Curing:
154 °C (light colors require longer curing)
Curing time always depends on the amount of ink used. Lighter prints and applications with a large amount of ink will require a longer curing time.

Screens:
For direct printing - 16T-122Tcm
For plastisol transfers - 32T-50Tcm

Recommended additives:
Series 500 is a very soft ink with a pleasant "hand". To create even softer prints—similar to water-based inks—it is recommended to use Excalibur 502 or 501 reducer.
Reducer 502 provides lower coverage and a softer effect, but also reduces print elasticity.
Gelling reducer CR501 increases the amount of ink while reducing coverage. The print softness is similar to that achieved with 502; however, reducer 501 can be used in unlimited quantities.
