VASTEX | AutoFlash

VASTEX AutoFlash module — taking the screen printing workflow to the next level — the rotary Flash from Vastex.

AutoFlash rotates the curing unit head into position over the platen at the press of a foot pedal and automatically rotates the head away from the screen printing platen after the user-set dwell time has elapsed, preventing scorching or insufficient curing of ink on garments.

All AutoFlash units now come standard with an HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) for controlling and displaying the dwell time and direction of head rotation. More visible from a distance than previous controls, it also displays a "ready" message for the next cycle and improves the workflow by responding precisely regardless of whether the foot switch is pressed during or after the flash curing cycle.

The Auto Flash unit is equipped with a high-torque DC gear motor and eccentric arm drive that gradually initiates head rotation, ensuring smooth starting and stopping, as well as a foot switch with a 7-foot (2 m) cable for operator convenience.

The "Breakaway Detent" feature stops head rotation if an obstruction is encountered, maximizing operator safety and minimizing damage to the curing head, Auto-Flash gearbox, and/or screen printing machine.

The AutoFlash upgrade is now available for all Vastex equipment models: F-Series, RedFlash and Air-Flash

AutoFlash can be used with dryers from the following series:

• AirFlash
• RedFlash

With AutoFlash, you can remotely control the rotation of the dryer head using a foot pedal. The unit is equipped with a safety system that automatically stops rotation when the head encounters an obstruction. The user can set the head to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. AutoFlash is built around a high-quality motor that ensures the head starts and stops smoothly after completing its rotation. The control pedal is connected to the unit via a cable over 2 meters long.

AutoFlash is available in versions powered by 120 V or 240 V.
