Direct-to-film is a method for fast, inexpensive, and simple production of the highest-quality garment prints. The printer applies ink to transparent PET film. The printed film is then coated with special adhesive powder. The prepared material goes into an oven, where the adhesive melts and bonds with the ink. Once cooled, the print is ready for application. The best professional devices on the market—such as Zodiac IntelliJet—allow the entire process to be carried out using a single device, without operator intervention.

- Automatic cleaning:

no additional equipment is required to clean the printheads, and you will not get your hands dirty. Simply press one button and the printer will handle it automatically.

- Maintaining constant humidity:

during printing breaks, the printheads rest in a specially designed station that maintains their humidity and prevents the ink from drying out.

- Constant circulation of white ink:

care for the unobstructed circulation of white ink does not end at the printhead. The ink supply system is equipped with a circulation pump that prevents white ink from drying in the lines and tank.   

- Two exhaust filters:

guaranteeing that it can be freely installed in an enclosed room. No need to build an exhaust system—Zodiac IntelliJet is equipped with two effective pollutant filters, allowing it to be installed even in an office. Simply replace the filters once every few months, and the air around the printer will remain fresh and harmless to health.

- Closed hot-air circulation:

before the filtered air leaves the oven, it contributes to the device’s operating efficiency. This production-line component was designed to release virtually no heat outside. The oven has a closed hot-air circulation system, allowing it to maintain temperature much more effectively and reduce electricity consumption by up to 30%. Zodiac IntelliJet therefore takes care not only of air quality in the print shop, but also of the temperature there. Ergonomics is key to the efficient operation of print shops that do not have large production areas at their disposal.

- Powder heating in the tank:

The middle component of the production line also includes important conveniences. The powder shaker has a built-in heated powder tank, which allows all moisture to evaporate before the adhesive is applied to the print. This improves application quality and durability and prevents the powder from clumping in the tank.

- Optional automatic powder transfer:

A version with a powder shaker that automatically transfers powder from the bottom of the tank to the top is also available as an option. In the standard version, adhesive residue that has passed through the print falls to the bottom of the tank, from which it must be transferred back to the top from time to time. The shaker with automatic powder circulation does this for us, minimizing the need to operate the device.

- Convenient controller:

A touchscreen display controls the production process. Print speed, color saturation, and even the vibration frequency of the powder shaker are just the beginning of the settings that can be personalized using it. Zodiac IntelliJet allows the operator to keep everything under control.

- Modern design, compact size:

Although the entire unit is a professional DTF printing line, it does not take up as much space as most printers available on the market. Zodiac IntelliJet is equipment designed to perform in all conditions. If you are just starting production and do not have room for large devices, this is an option for you. If you need high-volume production, printers in the higher configurations will meet your requirements.

Works with dedicated DTF printing software

The dedicated software for the Zodiac IntelliJet printer is CadLink Digital Factory (Fiery). This software is rich in features that make printing even simpler and faster. If you want to save labor and reduce the time spent preparing files, this is the ideal option.

However, an additional investment is not essential. The printer also comes with free software that you can use to prepare print files without any problems. We will present both options and honestly explain their advantages and disadvantages so that your decision is based on concrete data.
