STAHLS' CAD-CUT® | Transfer Foil

New heat-transfer metallic foil for use with heat-transfer printing paper or adhesive for textiles.

Transfer foil is a metallic foil that adheres to prints made using heat-transfer papers or Excalibur plastisol emulsion adhesive.  Exceptional effects available to everyone—just use self-weeding heat-transfer paper (e.g. Freestyle or Freestye Dark), a laser printer and a little imagination to enjoy a unique design!

Application method (basic):

• Make a print (preferably in black on Freestyle paper or another self-weeding heat-transfer paper)
• Transfer the graphic onto the material using a heat-transfer press (Freestyle 165°C, 30 sec., light pressure, hot peel of the carrier layer)
• Apply a suitable piece of Polyfoil
• Heat-press at 165°C for 20 to 30 seconds with light pressure
• Peel off the carrier layer cold (after the fabric has cooled completely)
• Wash inside out

Cotton, cotton and polyester blends

Tip:

To achieve special effects, several foil colors can be applied one after another; the foil can also be crumpled before heat-pressing to create a "worn application" effect
