MODERN TRANS COPY | FreeStyle Dark A4

Freestyle Dark A4 - is paper for printing on dark textiles using OKI printers with white toner. A highly efficient WT printing system for dark substrates, characterized by easy printing and a lower rate of unsuccessful applications than other WT products. The system consists of two sheets:

- sheet A - film for CMYK + WT laser printing

Freestyle Dark is a paper that delivers very vivid colors, excellent contrast, and a lightweight print comparable to the highest-resolution direct printing. The most important feature of this material is the ease of making prints - sheet A prints without unnecessary specialized settings, and transferring to sheet B is easier than with other types of paper available on the market. Separating the sheets is easy because the transfer takes place at a much lower temperature than with papers from other manufacturers.

Step 1 - PRINTING PROCESS on film A

Print settings:

• Mirror printing
  
• White toner coverage: -3
• Tray: universal
• Paper type: film

Step 2 - TRANSFER PROCESS  to paper B

• Do not use Teflon coatings on the heat press.
• The lower platen should be thoroughly heated before applying the graphic - close the press for approx. 30-60 seconds.

• After printing the design on film A, place the film on the work platen (lower platen), with the design facing upward.
• Cover film "A" with sheet of paper "B"
• Cover the transfer with protective paper (e.g. Kraft Paper) to avoid soiling the heating platen.
• Press at 2 - 3 bar (medium pressure) for 60 seconds at a temperature of 150 to 160°C
• Separate sheet A from B in one smooth motion after max. 10 seconds (3 to 10 seconds to separate both papers, without removing them from under the press)

Step 3 - APPLICATION PROCESS ON A T-SHIRT

• Preheat the garment to remove excess finishes by closing the press for a few seconds.
• Position the design on the garment.
• Press at 150 to 160°C for 30 to 60 seconds. After application, allow the T-shirt to cool completely before removing the paper from it.
• An additional 3-second press will increase print durability.

NOTES:

All popular graphic formats can be printed, but direct printing from CorelDraw or using dedicated RIP software is recommended.

We recommend rasterizing the image before printing - this produces a lighter and more flexible print
