Clam Basic was designed and manufactured by the global leader in the printing industry - STAHLS, as a simple-to-use, affordable and reliable press.  Clam Basic is equipped with an accurate digital time and temperature display and a solidly constructed heating plate with even heat distribution, ensuring consistent printing results. 

The Clam Basic heat transfer press has a distinctive "clamshell" design, meaning that its upper platen lifts and closes like a shell. Thanks to this design, the press takes up less space and is more convenient to use compared with, for example, industrial pneumatic press models. One of the main applications of the Clam Basic press is heat transfer onto garments using heat transfer technology - with flex, flock, Metalflex-effect or Reflective films. The press is also used for applying the increasingly popular DTF (direct-to-film) prints and works well with sublimation prints.

This is a simple machine for printing on T-shirts and other materials (bags, sweatshirts, pillows, and sublimation substrates such as metal sheets, ceramics and PVC). The product family is expanded by the Basic CAP model, designed for printing on caps.
