STAHLS' CAD-CUT® | Felt

Cad-Cut Felt (Filtz, Felt) – a heat transfer material with a vintage effect! The classic look of the application is provided by the composition of this heat transfer film – 80% wool and 20% silk. Cad-Cut Felt (also available as Cad-Cut Filtz, heat transfer felt) is a material with a very soft feel that creates unique effects.  The material is 42cm wide, without a polyester carrier layer, and is intended mainly for cutting on flat plotters. To prepare Cad-Cut Felt for cutting on roll plotters, apply a carrier sheet (e.g. Magic Mask or medium-tack transfer paper)

Cutting:
From the face side, on a flat plotter. Cutting on a roll plotter requires an additional carrier

Heat pressing time:
8 - 10 seconds / 170 - 175°C, firm press pressure

Before heat pressing the material, preheat (press) the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to evaporate all the chemical substances with which it is impregnated.

Application durability:
Although many users limit themselves to applying it only with a heat transfer press, this material requires further processing. The standard method of securing an application made from Cad-Cut Felt is to embroider around the design using an embroidery machine

Recommended for:
Cotton, Ployester, Poly-cotton,Lycra®/spandex, Wool

Washing:
Washing with mild detergents at 30°C is recommended (felt – 80% wool in the material)

Storage:
For the best application results, the material should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
